Shaykh Abu Suhaib Bassam
Ash-Shaykh Al-Kareem Abu Suhaib Bassam Ali, born in 1384 AH in Qatar and of Palestinian ethnicity, is a person of knowledge. Originally studying engineering, his path changed after a life-changing event that led him to pursue Islamic knowledge. He has been upon Salafiyyah since 1987. He met Imam Al-Albani (may Allaah have mercy upon him) in 1990 and accompanied him until he passed away in 1999. Known as the “Ambassador of Salafiyyah” in his home city of Madaba, Jordan, he relocated to the UK in 2002, where he continues to teach primarily in mosques up and down the country. Thousands of his lectures are available online free of charge. He has taught numerous classical Islamic texts and contributed to Islamic TV channels. May Allaah preserve and bless him.
